Glenda M. Thomas
Glenda Marie (Fleming) Thomas was born in Mount Pleasant Texas and raised in San Francisco and San Jose California. She completed high school with high honors and went directly to Southwestern Christian College at age 17. While attending Southwestern Christian College, Glenda met and married J C Thomas, Jr. From the first day of their marriage, they have been in ministry together beginning at a congregation in Mineral Wells, TX. This ministry led them to Palestine TX, Tacoma WA, Denver CO, Richmond CA , Los Angeles, Detroit Metro, Reseda CA and now to Dallas TX.
Glenda has been happily married to Evangelist,J C Thomas, Jr for 40 years, She is the mother of 3 young adult children, J C III, Linnita and Marie. She is the proud grandmother to one grandson, J C IV.
Glenda has attended college at U C Berkeley and Oakland University where she majored in Ethnic Studies.
Glenda has been active in the teaching program of the church for 40 years (even as a teenager).
She is a speaker and has spoken at a women’s events in Seattle, Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Houston, Columbia TN, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Detroit Metro area and Chicago.
As a Spiritual Life Coach Glenda has led women through to spiritual healing by using “12 Steps for Christians”.
Glenda also founded the Sister 2 Sister Newsletter for 14 years this newsletter was sent to 14 countries and
served as a ministry of encouragement to women.
Currently Glenda is a blogger Glenda the Good Foodie where she blogs about making healthier food choices
and other topics centered around food. This blog is a read in 45 countries.
She has authored several books: Woman to Woman: Lessons on the Relationships of Bible Women.
This workbook covers the relationships of women in the Old Testament and the New Testament; “Fundamentals of an Effective Women’s Ministry”.
Her most recent books are:
“7 Relationship Builders for Grandparents” and
an audio CD and e-book entitled,
“Who Knew? God Still Heals.”
Glenda also broadcasts on Sister 2 Sister Radio show on blogtalkradio.com/glendathomas. This radio show addresses various topics of interest to Christian women.
